All our courses at PMADS Benoni start at 9.00 am unless otherwise arranged.
We aim to finish at about 4.00 pm each day, however this is often dependent on the group.
We do not sacrifice learning and discussion opportunities for time.
Parking
Secure parking is available.
The speed limit on our premises is 10 Kph.
Breaks
We try to take a short break after about an hour in the classroom.
We have a large, enclosed yard for anyone wanting to stretch their legs.
Plenty of space for smokers.
Refreshments
Tea and coffee will be available 30 minutes before your starting time.
These are available for self-service throughout the day.
Lunch
We aim to schedule lunches for about 12.00 Noon.
We provide lunch from Fast Food outlets.
We place an order from one outlet each day, in consultation with our delegates.
What to bring with you
You will receive a Learner Guide, Learner Workbook, and a pen.
The Learner Guide contains space for notes.
If you use highlighters, any other Learning Aids or dedicated notebooks, bring them with you.
Feel free to bring a blanket or cover if you get colder than most. We never seem to reach consensus on the temperature control.
Wi-fi
Subject to availability of the service (MWEB), all delegates will have access to the guest wi-fi while on our premises.
We experience very little to no downtime.
Dress Code
We do not prescribe a dress code.
Dress for comfort.
Consider that you will be meeting delegates from other organisations as a representative of yours.
Participation
A question not asked is an opportunity missed.
Your purpose is to get the knowledge you need. While we do have Facilitator Guides, we are also guided by the discussions and questions raised by the delegates.
We encourage group discussions and everyone to share experiences.
Portfolio Support (if applicable)
You will be briefed on the requirements at the end of the course.
You will have access to templates and other resources.
